NEW YEAR, NEW YOU
It’s that time of year again when everyone thinks about the things they want to accomplish in the new year. Seems like the first thing on everyone’s list is losing weight after all the Holiday goodies they’ve been eating! I purchased a couple of these fun HydroJugs. The kids end up using them more than I! It’s great for basketball and softball practices. Especially now days when all the water fountains are turned off. This is a half gallon jug and makes getting in that gallon a day much easier! They have sales often with bundles on special for $24.99 from time to time. Or you can purchase a separate jug and pick your own sleeve to make up your own combination. The more popular styles seem to sell out quickly, but keep checking back as they restock regularly.
Maybe it’s cleaning closets and decluttering. Lord knows I have more than enough closets to clean!
How about all the photos you take? Shutterfly photobooks are a great way to display photos. I try to do one for every season. TRY is a key word here. Life seems to get in the way and I am always behind. What do you do with all the photos on your phones?!
Another thing I do at the beginning of every year is evaluate our finances. I have this handy dandy spreadsheet that I can update our payments, loan balances and income, etc.
How about less time on your phones? Maybe more reading. I always tell myself I should read for a little while when I climb into bed instead of turning on the TV or catching up on Facebook. I love to read and I definitely don’t do enough of it! I do however, read more than one book when on vacation. I’ve been working on the Virgin River series. They are SO good. Even though I have a kindle, I guess I’m old school and tend to go for the paperbacks!
And speaking of vacations… maybe January is the time when you think about planning one! I know we are. Next adventure: the Florida Keys! I’ll be sure to document as much info as I can and share it with you all.
